Happened to be in the hood around lunch time and tried the Church's sandwich. The spicy is all in the sauce and it isn't spicy at all. While it's probably bottom tier for spicy chicken sandwiches, it was still fine. I'm thinking I really like the bun.

Is raising canes any good? Apparently it was a big deal that they opened here. I assume it’s not really any different than KFC/Chickfila/etc.

Cane's is overrated. The sauce is good and the sides are good, but the chicken itself is either extremely underseasoned or not seasoned at all.

Apparently they intentionally under season bc they know people are going to go ham w/ the sauce. I kind of get it. But also if your chicken sucks plain and you're a chicken place, that's an L.

The chicken is delicious, probably the best tenders you’ll get anywhere, but they are under seasoned. That being said, the bread, the fries and the sauce are all good. One of the better true fast food options.

Hoboken and Jersey City are for sure going to have dispensaries as soon as you cross the Hudson.

Hell, probably everywhere on the Jersey side of the Hudson you can get to from NYC will have dispensaries. Then NY state will legalize it within a year or two.

Was bored this morning while my computer took an hour to update, in case anyone was wondering there is a legit chance castefootball is shutting down soon. Their owner made a post in the fall about lack of traffic and was amazed they had 80 posts the other day, which apparently is a lot for them.

If they can afford that real estate. People already take the PATH to Hoboken/Jersey City to make legal bets on their phone and then turn right around. I'd imagine they'll certainly do the same for weed. Not sure about the laws carrying across state line though.

Doesn't mean much in NY, but the cops used to wait right at the NE border and bust morons leaving the state. I suppose NYC cops probably have better things to do than NE staties, but who knows.

Most people would probably be taking the PATH so they wouldn't have a bullshit reason like speeding to search for it like I'm sure they did in NE.

They are building a dispensary in Illinois on the first exit as you drive south from Wisconsin and I would literally never stop at it. I imagine cops will just watch people drive out of the parking lot and turn onto the northbound.
