I'm imagining a teacher's wardrobe would be similar to retail as kind of on the more casual end of business casual? Anyway, men's style isn't really trendy, just look for classic stuff. A couple pairs of chinos, few button downs, and a couple non-logo polos should be fine as long as you get pant colors that go with all the shirts so you can mix it up. The most important thing is that everything fits well.

I'd also suggest having two pairs of shoes so you can alternate days and keep them from getting gross.

what's the kind of belt where the slack tucks under your belt rather than over?

In the market for a couple blazers, nice but affordable. My arms are too long for just about anything off the rack unless the chest size is much too large. Is that an easy thing to have tailored to fit? If so this would help me capitalize on the best deals.

Otherwise, brand suggestions will be well received.

tailoring can be easy if you can find a place that will do it well.

I am a big fan of Bonobos for that kind of thing; they have a ton of different cuts for all our weird-ass bodies.

Also, Indochino makes things custom to your measurements. Never tried them myself, but Iíve heard decent things

does anyone know how to get a good custom suit jacket? And with that fancy custom inner lining? My dad is getting inducted to the military packing hall of fame and I wanna make him his own "gold jacket" but red with rutgers lining on the inside (he did go to Rutgers)

You just need to find a tailor in the area. Going to be a little pricey though I bet.

The tailor should be able to get it or will have it already. Find one and give them a call.

Do Indochino, Scotty. You can customize lining (and most other things, really). A tailor will probably set you back $700+ for a bespoke jacket.

Rob,

You ever look into Leonard Logsdail suits? I don't want to drop bespoke prices, but does he do MTM too?

I'm looking for a Kent Wang alternative in the city that's reasonable.
