I haven't watched many Gopher games, but is he always this conservative? It seems like they run a draw on every 3rd and long.

They have great running backs and great receivers but somehow it seems today they are passing when they should run and running when they should pass. I think Fleck might just be overthinking trying to be too smart in a big game.

Both lines got the absolute dogshit beat out of them, thats the long and short of it.

Game flipped when they punted from the Wisconsin 35 on 4th and 2 and a chance to go up 2 scores. That's just toxic loser bullshit that Fleck desperately needs to leave in 2019.

That's straight up old school Kirk Ferentz shit and it's absolutely infuriating. Playing not to lose is the worst mentality ever.

Someone refresh my memory, I'm assuming OSU beats Wisconsin next week and then makes the playoff. Does the Rose Bowl have to take a Big Ten team if the champion is in the playoff?

Yes, I believe if the Big Ten gets a team in the playoff the Rose Bowl is obligated to take the next Big Ten team. Same with the PAC 12.

Gotcha. Sounds like I have to hope the Badgers can keep it close and we end up above Penn State haha

That’s the disappointing thing. We would definitely be over PSU so failing to show up on the biggest game of the year knocks us from the Rose Bowl to like the Outback Bowl or some bullshit like that.

Hey, the Outback Bowl is a pretty good bowl! Not playing in the Quick Lane Bowl is good.

As much as I'd love to keep gloating on the win, Minnesota is legit and it's going to be a battle in the West going forward. I still think Fleck is a douche, but he's filled that team with loads of talent.

Sould be Oklahoma's spot to lose but Georgia will be #4 to set up for a possible LSU loss in the championship.

How does that even happen? I mean, you know whether you’re on the punt return team or not. How does an extra guy go out there?

Auburn lined up like they were going for it to draw them off side, so I'm guessing they threw the regular defense back out but the punt returner was still deep.

Bama hasn’t beaten a top 40 team this season. Laughable schedule. Glad the circular SEC logic still won’t be broken due to overinflating Georgia’s ranking.

OU has been getting by the skin of its teeth; I agree it’s their spot to lose if they win out but that seems like a tall order right now. Just glad the two sec teams in the playoff narrative is half dead. Won’t be fully dead until LSU beats UGA.

Not sure how you can justify having them there with that sc loss at any rate but hey.

I would love to have it be Utah but the Pac12 is sooooo bad I can't give them the benefit over a the champ from the Big12.
