Doing crash keto occasionally has helped me kick some bad habits but I absolutely can’t do it for a sustained period of time. I’ve made some serious progress in the last year, but eating completely clean is impossible.

Gotcha. Iím looking to drop some significant weight (20+) and Iím looking at the best fit for me as well as the most realistic. I know cutting beer out of weekends will provide a significant jumpstart.

Drink a lot of water. Drop sugars entirely. Limit carb intake. If you want to drink on the weekends, stick to vodka/soda. Try to mix in some cardio 3-4x a week. That alone will get you mostly there.

The carb drop is going to be the most challenging; dropping beer is essentially mandated because I’m back in grad school and literally just don’t have as much time now.

I’m thinking I do a 4:45a wakeup to inject a 30-60 workout session 3 days a week to start. I’m already waking up at 5:30 so it shouldn’t be that hard of an adjustment. Adulthood has become so routine-oriented.

Waking up before 7 is awful. Let alone before 5.

I definitely have some advantages that I work from home so all my meals are home cooked. I’ve also been taking it easy on the drinking and going out which has coincided with a number of my friends doing some sort of whole 30 so it’s been easier.

I also fell into a 16:8 intermittent fast routine as I’ve never been a breakfast person. IF has been known to aid in weight loss.

Dan last time I did keto and dropped this kind of weight I did T25 every weekday. Rest every weekend. This time I’m doing weight training. I’m like the results better this time

I might do keto again when it starts to warm up. It's just so hard in the winter. Also my wife is a terrible influence on me.

I accidentally made a ton of mac and cheese, so will be switching back to keto a week later than planned.

I have to be to work at 7. It is no good. Half hour drive too. But I can't complain too much.

I don't know how yall do keto, I love my carbs.

I do a mixture of powerlifting and body building while going to variations of volume carb intake.

One day is carb load the next day low carbs the following day no carbs and continue the cycle and it's been working for me for those who can't do the keto thing.

I follow the ketogains formula when I'm on it. I mostly curb carb cravings with cheese and almonds and other viable substitutes (e.g. pork rinds instead of breadcrumbs, cauliflower instead of macaroni, 5 net carb wraps). It is really hard to eat 200g of protein without carbs, though, I'll say that. It's probably a lot easier for me because I don't mind eating the same thing every day. I make an egg & sausage/bacon casserole for the week, chili or meatballs or something for the week, and snack on cheese and almonds.

I loathe people who charge an "admin" fee for running gambling pools. You aren't doing any work, you're typing names into a spreadsheet.

Ehh still organizing they should get a tip from the winner depending on how much they are really doing. I wouldn't actually take a fee out but would expect a small tip.
