I'm moving into a townhome in December so will have a lot more space and a basement for a movie/gaming set up. Almost pulled the trigger on a pretty good 4K 65 inch TV for 650 but I'm gonna wait for Black Friday and hope for something better. Also in the market for a soundbar and maybe some rear speakers.

65" LG CX OLEDs dropped to $1850 today from $2250. I need to go get my costco price adjusted down or just return and rebuy.

Thinking about going OLED but I've heard it's susceptible to burn in which worries me as someone who is always falling asleep with the TV on. Black Friday might be too tempting either way.

I was worried about that a bit, but there are mitigation strategies worked into the TVs now. They can dim static images on screen, it shifts pixels occasionally, and it has a pixel refresher that runs when you turn off the tv. I watch enough varied content that I don't feel like I have to worry. I'm still going to watch football on Sundays and game on it when I want. I don't really think burn in is quite an issue with the 2020 model. I don't watch cnn all day though.

I have had an LG C7 for 3 years now. I have played hours of consistent video games, and watched hours of sporting events. I can say my panel has no burn in currently.

I try to avoid leaving it on a screen that is very bright with a static image for too long to just make sure I don't get any burn in, but as Neil said they have multiple precautions to help prevent that. Like moving the image ever so slightly (imperceptible to me) to help prevent it, having screensavers, and auto off times.

I wouldn't hesitate if you can get a quality one.

I bought one for my wife’s birthday. The picture is really good. The remote sucks though. I’m going to buy the 65 inch one from Walmart for $218.

I have a 6 (?) series. 2 years in and it's been really good. They use older tech for their lower end models, but they're still pretty good. Especially for the price. They used the Kia business model for getting into the TV market.

I have a TCL in my bedroom, its a perfectly good TV. As good as a few of the slightly more expensive brands.

Hey, I was in the market for a subwoofer and this appears to be a great deal. I jumped on it.

$149 for a 12" Klipsch sub seems like a huge deal to me. Anyways, I get it sometime this week. Will report back.

I'm interested to see what you think. I saw the same ad. Been holding out for the new Sonos set up, but I was researching Klipsch and have been tempted.
