There's a game on Steam called Pummel Party that's supposed to be pretty good and fit sort of that Mario Party style of play.

I've tried a few of the Steam party games, nothing comes close to old school Mario Party games. Its crazy how bad this last few Mario Party games have been. The shit's a system mover if it's done well with a robust online matchmaking system, loads of levels and mini games. It also seems crazy that they aren't releasing level DLC for the last Mario Party game. What a fucking waste.

Mario Aces did seem like a big whiff and I never even played the new Paper Mario (I instead just played emulated versions of old ones). That said I have been playing some N64 Mario Golf lately and the trailer makes this new game seem pretty identical. I'm fine with that, the old game is awesome. Would be hard to fuck this up, let's see if they do. I've just wanted new Mario Golf for years!

Nintendo is lazy af lately. The entire Switch library is just ports and remasters, but that's what I want it for.

I hope Switch 2 is just a 1080p upgrade with better controls and a lite version with good battery life

I didn't play any GC-Wii U Zelda games so I like that they are remastering those. I want Wind Waker

Switch is a perfect Nintendo system in that it has a lot of casual games and all your Nintendo favorites.

I ended up buying Golf Story on Switch to scratch the Golf itch. What an awesome game, it was only 10 bucks too!

I played when it 1st came out, then eventually downloaded an android emulator and a autowalker/catcher, caught them all and quit

I finally got to order a PS5 but shipping got delayed because of bad weather across the US. *sigh*

Also I'm going to put in about a 1000 hours into Diablo 4 when it comes out...

Pokemon Go was such a cool, zeitgest-y thing to be involved with when it launched. It was really fun to head to random places and see dozens of other people out there doing exactly the same thing.

I played in the beginning for a few months and then quit for years. Just restated because my son had his own phone now and he's into it.

Not interested in emulators but since you're in Australia you probably have some Pokémon that you can only get in that region. Let's be friends and trade!

While their reasoning is commendable, no one will care outside of ND fans who can't play as them.

EA should create an independent school based in Indiana and whose mascot is like an elf or something. Same as how they create FCS or random regional cupcake schools.
