Tridad, CO is really close to the border with NM and it's the closest one to Texas. Police can't test your stuff to tell the difference between CBD from hemp and THC, so as long as you don't have flower they can't arrest you. Also, as long as you aren't speeding they won't stop you. In Amarillo, there are a ton of billboards for lawyers advertising if you get caught transporting weed to Texas.

In short, I doubt cops will do anything about it. It's hard to enforce and they have black teens they need to hassle/kill.

It shouldn't be, but it is because of how important the criminalization of marijuana is to utilizing the police state to maintain the racial order.

Republicans in Minnesota stick pro-marijuana party candidates on the ballots to try to split the dem vote and if it gets legalized that tactic goes away, so we're just waiting for national legalization at this point. Fucking South Dakota passed legalization before us.

Walz has always been against it but now he's relatively forcefully come out for it to try and end that tactic. Even if it doesn't get passed it's good to make your opponents take unpopular stances.

It was 40 yesterday which after the fuckery over the last 2 weeks was shorts weather. So I kind of get where he's coming from, 70 can feel like 100 if it happens right after enough cold weather.

Texas doesn't even allow people to create ballot measures. It's so fucking stupid. If you put weed on the ballot in most states, it's legal.

Yeah this is going to be a wet week. This is my first thaw in my home so I'm excited to find all the low and improperly sealed spots. Got my shopvac ready to go in the basement.
