It seems like a bit of a design flaw to have a foundation that leaks after a thaw in WI.

I only know of one spot that leaks that I will fix come spring so it might be fine overall. Idk, just the first thaw I've experienced in an old house. I'm prepared.

Damix living in Florida like an old retired guy but while in his 30s is a vibe I respect, because I sound more and more like my dad when I talk about my house and it's landscaping. but without the mental health issues.

Also, I am considering taking up golf because I don't want to blow my other ACL.

Fair enough - my house is like, 110 years old and I sort of just YOLO'd my first year in it based on the inspection. Our winter is also a bit more mild at least.

Need some opinions really quick:

Gf’s — uncle’s mother passed; he is a really good dude and I wanted to send something to the house besides a basic card saying sorry. What are some suggestions for that? I don’t want to be excessive but I also want to genuinely express that I care. I’m not going to go there physically because the quarantine stuff almost excessively serious

I'm all about sending like gift baskets with food or something. There's a place by me that does a good job. They send like fruit and bakery stuff, etc

I just don't think golf will ever be for me. I hope I never get to the point where its golf or nothing else. Everyone says it's great to day drink in the good weather, which I 100% agree on, but who says I need to play golf to do that.
