I don't have a problem with Randle or Lavine. Lavine in particular had to be there at this point. But when you have a bunch of guys putting up huge numbers I don't get how you pick the one on the Orlando Magic over guys who are winning. Not like its close to an A-Rod situation where he's so far ahead of the competition that the wins don't matter.

he grades as a top 10 player by almost every metric across a dozen different respected mediums this season, be it espn's rpm, 538's raptor, bbref's ws48, hes up there with the elites

Conley has been good enough for long enough that I wouldn't blame him if he was annoyed at not sneaking on a team at least once over the years.

I kind of look at it like when people bring up Russell Wilson never getting an MVP vote though. It feels like he should have gotten one but when you look back year by year it's hard to find one where you don't have an argument to leave him out.

Yeah hes always on the edge, like hes a better player than a lot of guys who sneak in for their 1 or 2 appearances, but he just doesnt have that big number season that makes him a clear snub
