Feels like an overall weaker class than 2020's. Every position other than QB seems to be lacking depth as well, and that won't be helped if the college football season is canceled or delayed/shortened.

That would be insane, but he still wouldn't be eligible.
If he were, I imagine the Bengals would take him and trade him for a king's ransom.

It might not be the Bengals with the first pick in the supplemental draft. Someone like the Panthers or Jaguars could luck out and get the spot. It would be crazy if it ever happened. |

The NFL decides who can declare, not NCAA. I don’t see why they wouldn’t be able to declare as they’d be 3 years out of high school, which is the rule. If the season is called off, they’ll probably give everyone an extra year of eligibility, but it’ll be up to the schools to decide if they do as well.

Way too early 2021 top 10 mock:
1.) Jacksonville Jaguars - QB Trevor Lawrence, Clemson - Best QB prospect since Andrew Luck makes the choice very easy. 2.) Washington Redskins - Penei Sewell, Oregon - The temptation to go for a QB like Fields will be high if Dwayne Haskins has a poor showing, but they go with an elite OT prospect in Sewell instead to replace Trent Williams. 3.) Cincinnati Bengals - EDGE Micah Parsons, Penn St. - While not quite to the level of Chase Young or one of the Bosas, Parsons is an elite EDGE rushing prospect who will help the Bengals defense immensely. 4.) Carolina Panthers - QB Justin Fields, Ohio St. - McCaffery and the defensive improvements keep the team from bottoming out entirely, but their rebuild has only just begun. Fields is clearly a level behind Lawrence, but still worthy of a top 5 pick. 5.) NY Jets - WR Ja'Marr Chase, LSU - The Jets had two major offensive needs in 2020, filling one by going OT. The need for a true #1 WR remains, and Chase is the best in the class. (He possibly would have been the best of the loaded 2020 class as well had he been eligible.) 6.) Detroit Lions - QB Jamie Newman, Georgia - The transfer currently carries a Day 2 grade, but has the talent to go this high if he backs it up with a good season at Georgia. The Lions move on from Stafford. 7.) LA Chargers - OT Alex Leatherwood, Alabama - An aging Bryan Bulaga is the only OT worth mentioning from their roster. Protecting Justin Herbert becomes essential. 8.) Atlanta Falcons - CB Shaun Wade, Ohio St. - Atlanta doubles up after going CB in the 1st round of 2020 as well. OSU continues to churn out top quality CBs. 9.) NY Giants - EDGE Gregory Rousseau, Miami - After three straight years going offense in the 1st round, the Giants address their defense with a premier edge rusher. 10.) Las Vegas Raiders - DT Marvin Wilson, Florida St. - The Raiders would love a QB to move onto from Carr, but no one left is worth the pick here. Instead, they add beef to their defensive line.

That might be smart no matter what happens with the college season, but he's on record saying that he won't even consider it.

Some more guys to watch:
QB Brock Purdy, Iowa State QB Kyle Trask, Florida WR Chris Olave, Ohio St WR Tamorrion Terry, Florida St WR Seth Williams, Auburn TE Pat Freiermuth, Penn St TE Brevin Jordan, Miami OT Liam Eichenberg, Notre Dame IOL Cade Mays, Tennessee IOL Josh Myers, Ohio St EDGE Carlos Basham, Wake Forest EDGE Patrick Johnson, Tulane EDGE Xavier Thomas, Clemson LB Paddy Fisher, Northwestern LB Dimitri Moore, Vanderbilt CB Israel Mukuamu, South Carolina CB Eric Stokes, Georgia S Jevon Holland, Oregon S Hamsah Nasirildeen, Florida St These are all guys who either jumped out to me watching tape on their teammates for 2020, or guys who I’ve seen in the first two rounds of way too early 2021 mocks

There's no good answer, but that would potentially really screw over a lot of incoming freshmen (this season's or next season's, depending on where they drew the extra-year line).

Next years TE class should be the best in a long time with Jordan, Friermuth, and Pitts all showcasing first round talent

The Pats are gonna suck next year, if we don’t get Lawrence I want Rousseau.
And Friermuth will be the best TE prospect since VD/Winslow |

I just have a hard time seeing BB coaching a sub 6 win team. They likely play themselves out of both of the top QBs and Rousseau
