Non-league team? Nice. It's at their ground in Liverpool which has a capacity of 3,189 (389 seated) which is unfortunate for them, but hopefully they get some nice TV money out of it.

How did they not even review it? That's what had me the most baffled. Genuinely shocking and yes, karma. Also, Watkins is green and has a bad pen record, surely Grealish should be taking them...?

I for sure thought it would be Grealish even before knowing Wakins poor form from the spot. But yeah, I don't understand how it wasn't looked at but they must have deemed the tiny shirt tug enough for Trezeguet to go flying forward.

Also I guess the ruling on the actual Watkins tying goal was correct but it shows everything wrong with the new offsides interpretation. He's fighting for position, pushing and pulling each other, and they say his elbow is slightly behind another dude's elbow. There's no real advantage there, re-write the rule to show actual intent and account for actual separation. It's all because they felt the need to define the arm for a handball, and carry that over to offsides.

Saw they are only the second 8th division level team to make the 3rd round. Would love to switch it to a home fixture but kinda hope they are allowed fans for the game, even the like 800 they'd get for half capacity and TV revenue possibly.

Also love December fixtures. 10 this month for City! Aguero may be a bench option at best right now but they’re generally healthy and deep otherwise. Got Ferna back in the XI, been able to trot out the back line everyone was waiting for a couple times. The weekend was encouraging, if they’re going to be something this year we better start seeing it soon

So ESPN has a story up about EPL and Brexit, and once the UK finally leaves the EU that prem league teams will faces more restrictions for signing non-UK players, such as no teams will be able to sign non-UK players under the age of 18. Not sure how much it happens now but that is going to be shitty regardless.

It happens a whole bunch right now if you're in the Top 6-8. Whilst Spurs have done a shitty job developing foreign players, right now they've got a few from Sweden, Albania, Estonia, and Spain. It would be lame if we couldn't keep rolling the dice on these guys.

I really hope he stays. I know other teams might be able to offer more playing time, but certainly not in as high profile matches. Not that Chelsea are a favorite, but I'm sure he'd love to win a Champions League and this season at Chelsea might be his last best chance.
