The Packers getting a botched call their way, shocker. That ref should be executed, didn’t even have the proper angle to make that call. Looked like a clear “I’m gonna be the hero” flag.

Same ref, same call, on the same player, back to back drivers that gave the packers 10 points and the win. He should be fired immediately.

The irony is bahktari could have been called for the same flag on both flowers plays.

If you are going to do replacement ref stuff. At least eff up different penalties instead of the same one

If you go further toward the start of the play, Bakhtiari gets a hand in Flowers facemask as well.

This is such a small brain take too, yet the NFL still doesn't do it. They really can't afford to pay 16 crews a liveable salary? The interest to referee NFL games would be insane if the wage was decent.

They started to a few years ago, one official per staff I believe. But they ended that program this past offseason. Didn't "see any benefits" or something stupid like that.

The other problem besides the NFL's seeming unwillingess is that most of the officials have more lucrative day jobs they don't want to give up. Forcing them all to go full time will likely mean a bunch of them quitting.

One of the problems that annoys me most is the fact that the average age of an NFL official seems on par with that of a Supreme Court Justice.
