Chubba is more than welcome on the Cardinals but hopefully the NCAA just lets him and everyone else on OSU transfer no strings attached

Both interesting questions.

OSU-Giants: Yes, I think so.
Kyle: You will be alive. I am 50/50.

My question: What will the NCAA salary cap look like in 2027?

Trick question. The NCAA won't be in charge of college football in 2027.

Do you guys think Saban’s evil powers will allow him to look the exact same and function well cognitively when he’s 75? I just feel like there won’t be a decline until he’s 86 or something.

Since the Sith instituted the rule of two, Belichick is the one to watch. Saban's apprentice after that would be interesting.

Well, this isn’t looking good — like at all. Ivy Lwague cancelling fall sports; “several” players at OSU test positive and other schools.

Just looks...unlikely.

There is no way they can play. I bet it gets moved to spring. And then cancelled.

The SEC will leave the NCAA before they don't have a season this Fall.

Next year's draft is going to be crazy assuming there is no college season, or even a spring season.

I believe the NFL will force some kind of product onto the field and get a season out of it, so it will basically be a mad dash to see who gets Trevor Lawrence. Otherwise decent teams who get hit hard by Covid might wind up in the running. It'll be crazy.

I don’t know if half of the towns that are home to SEC schools could financially survive a fall without football

Back when the death penalty was being threatened at Penn State and I lived in State College, there was huge concern around that. Those eight or so weekends a year basically finance the whole town.

That doesn't mean it's right to force football in places like that, but their desperation to make it happen is a bit more understandable.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it resulted in some degree of protesting.

Too bad they didn't get the death penalty and kicked out of the NCAA.

If these were paid athletes I could see more reason to really push for a season, but they aren't and it's morally questionable at best to risk their health and safety. It sucks so many places and institutions will be hurt, but it is a risk you take when you build an economic foundation on the backs of kids playing a sport. Protecting the kids needs to be the major emphasis.
