meh last time this conversation happened the top 3 swatted guys were all like 6'4 pocket passers(Carr, Herbert, and Tannehill maybe)

If you were small and didn't know you were small then sure it would be a problem but normally these small guys are the best athletes on every team they have ever played for and intelligence is part of that

Will Levis to the Panthers seems like a good fit now that Frank Reich was named HC. I could see Sam Darnold being brought back too as the bridge QB so Levis isn’t rushed onto the field. Biggest question is will they have to trade up for him?

Brees measured in at 72.3" at the combine. With a buzz cut, Bryce is at least 2" shorter.

He's listed as 6'0 on the Alabama roster. No one pads their height by just an inch, he is at most 5'10 and change, likely a hair under 5'10.

At 5'10 195 with good but not great athleticism, taking him #1 or 2 overall and betting on him to be the NFL's biggest outlier in the history of the position is pretty damn risky - especially for a guy many are viewing as the no-brainer QB1.

Because some team is going to take that gamble before the first round is out. Probably before the top 10 is out.

Bryce is still the top QB in the draft. He would have been last year, he is this year. His tape didn't get any worse, if anything he proved more by continuing to be great without great weapons and a worse O-Line. He's probably 5'10/5'11 and he can gain a few pounds to get to just below Russ Wilson size at worst.

Young isn't a traditional top QB prospect but I'd bet on him being at least a very good pro. Bama's OL was so terrible this year that Ole Miss' horrendous DL was pressuring Young all game and he won them that game single-handedly. His receivers were garbage and Gibbs got benched halfway through that game for whatever reason, he literally carried the team by himself and basically played a flawless game. Houston wouldn't be a terrible fit. They have some OL pieces in place and a good running back, they need weapons but I could see him doing well there if they get the whole coaching thing figured out

I've seen a few mocks that have them going Young/Johnston with their two firsts. Wouldn't be a bad way to go for them, especially if they get a good young offensive minded coach to grow with them.

Also by far the least pro talent that a Bama QB has played with, still mostly 4* players though

Like by far his worst case is still above Mac Jones and that locks him into the top 10
