I think the Mahomes injury is the perfect con to finally get the Bengals. They'll be overconfident, and the favorite unlike the previous 3 games. Mahomes is about to roast them cats. Pacheco just going to put a rubberband to keep that truckstick permanent.

But also, NFL script writers, please please please send fans other than Buffalo or Cincy to KC next year. These people are getting stale.

With free agency having a severe lack of WR talent and a weaker WR draft class than the last few years, Hopkins is probably more valuable than in most other years. I can't see the Cardinals just taking the first fourth rounder someone offers. Might even be able to get a little bidding war going.

I think he'd be a perfect fit for the Giants if they can swing the salary. He can be the Diggs to Jones' Allen.

15 teams are projected to be over the cap, and of those who aren't, only about 12 could take that and still have seven figures remaining.

I know there are tons of moves to be made and teams can get creative (see the Saints for like 15 years now), but it's something to keep in mind with veteran trades.

Except Diggs was 27 when he went to Buffalo and Hopkins would be 31. Huge difference there between entering prime and exiting. Also not like Hopkins can be depended on the past 2 years with injuries and PED suspension. Hope Giants stay far away even for a late round pick.

Eh, it's not a perfect analogy. Jones definitely isn't Allen either. But getting him an instant impact receiver will only help.

And I cannot impress upon you all just how pitiful the free agent class at WR is. It is garbage. How do you feel about bringing in Jacobi Myers? Or Noah Brown? Barring a surprise cut somewhere, that's about as good as it gets.

Only makes someone like Hopkins more valuable as a trade asset.

Ahh crap Tierney interviewing for bucs OC job. Hoped he was under the radar as he’s the logical choice if Kafka gets a HC job. If that does happen Tierney as OC and Davis Webb as QB coach has prob 80% of happening

Daboll might be the new Sean McVay in terms of his assistants becoming hot commodities. Kafka already had the Reid connection and was getting HC interest just as a QB coach.

I don't see Hopkins as an impact WR anymore so money should go elsewhere. Yes the FA class stinks but others can shake out from cuts and draft is always an option. A WR in 1st or 2nd round, Wandale, Hodgins, and some other pieces wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Wink getting 2nd interview with Colts also. That's a mess so I wouldn't go there but he might think due to his age it could be his best opportunity. Carolina scared me for getting Kafka so that's off the board. Don't see Houston or Denver as viable for him either so we might get lucky here. Sucks if Tierney left but Webb should be able to step into that role perhaps.

I think he showed he was back post-suspension this year. His production in nine games (with bad QB situations by the end) still projects out to over 1300 yards on a season. He's certainly not a long-term option, but for a team in need of a primary pass catcher (I won't say #1 WR at this point), he's still be great option.
