HW is actually getting kind of fun. Wlad losing was the best thing to happen to the division in a long time. Fury is super lame, but Joshua, Ortiz and Wilder are all really fun. Joshua in particular could be a real star.

Yeah I don't know how either of those guys stayed standing. As a fan that was an amazing fight, but as a human just watching them bashing each other's heads and bodies like that.. Man. That was absolutely brutal.

I like Wilder. Very entertaining. I hope they breathe some new life into the division.

I feel like this notion gets thrown out a lot but it seems to kind of look back at the history of the heavyweight division with rose-colored glasses. Other than the early 70's and the 90's for most of boxing history the heavyweight division is a lot like it has been recently - dominated by one guy for a long period of time with a lack of serious contenders at the top.

So is Canelo a bitch for dropping the belt knowing GGG really just wants to unify the middleweight belts or is GGG a bitch for not deviating from his goal to make the big fight happen? I'm leaning Canelo being the bitch in this scenario.

100% Canelo. They're both middleweights going for a middleweight title so why would they not fight at 160? Canelo's just using weight as an excuse because he's scared he'll lose.

Eh - it's just a tough fight to make. Canelo is far and away the "A" side here and I have no problem with him sucking GGG down a few lbs. GGG shouldn't have an issue with going down either - it's going to probably be a 5-10x bigger payday than he's ever received. The notion of having to fight at the divisional weight limit in a title fight is antiquated. I wish it wasn't, but that's the world we live in.

Don't get me wrong, Canelo definitely bears the brunt here since he's clearly hesitant to get in the ring with GGG, but I see his side on the weight issue.

I think people underestimate the value of what GGG is doing with the belts. I don't think Billy Joe will ever fight him, though. A lot of promoter talk going on right now.

Am I the only one that didn't particularly like the Gotti fights? Sure they were blood baths, but that was some terrible boxing.

I still believe that prime Mike Tyson was the greatest boxer ever. I will die on this hill. Idc.
