even with this, you wouldn't need year specific. You could just say "Bulls Jordan" or "Cavs Lebron" and that just means no one else can pick a player to represent the Cavs or Bulls. Like you wouldn't need a specific year for guys like Dirk or Bird etc

2) This one is what I think I interpreted as Fernando's original idea (but could be wrong)
Franchise options is limited by person. So if you picked Lebron, you can't pick a Heat, Cavs or Lakers player. But they're still open to anyone else.

3). Brodie's idea - Limited to one person per franchise, but only the team you pick them with. So you could have Cavs Lebron and Lakers Chris Mihm
