Yeah the time to get in with T Mobile was a few years ago, they've really jacked up their prices after gaining some popularity.

What do we think of this Kingery deal? I know they think he's sure thing but to give money without even seeing him at the majors seems kind of dumb.

If he's good, his team option years are going to be super cheap, if he isn't then it's only $24m over 6 years. Seems reasonable to me.

They said that about Singleton also. It's a good gamble on both sides but I'd have waited a year.

It's such a minimal deal even if he is terrible it won't matter in the long run. If he is even half way decent they recoup his value and more.

The Mets are still paying Bobby Bonilla, teams make worse investments than this all the time. Low risk for the Phillies.

The Bonilla thing is quite unique so not the best comp. Of course the Phillies can eat the money every year if he sucks but there's still a budget and it could be money spent elsewhere. Again it's not the worst thing in the world but I would have waited like I said.

I canceled mine back in January because I didn't want to pay the $85 before the season started, but as soon as I got that email, I squealed like a little girl with excitement
