Now that Europa is off the table (mathematically possible but let's be real), I think I'd rather just finish eigth and not play conference league. Levy needs to understand how shit this squad is and missing out on europe (and the money) altogether might give him a kick up the ass to fix it.

Chelsea losing to the entire B squad for city, yikes

Depending what Leicester does tomorrow, looks like the battle for the last relegation spot comes down to if Leeds can beat Spurs at home by more than 3 and hope Everton ties/loses to Bournemouth at home. Gonna be fun.

Europa Conference is great. Still a European competition, shot at a legit trophy, and some big European away days. Overlooking it or thinking you’re above it is foolish IMO.

But yes in the long run it's better but at the same time this team needs a kick in the ass, and no European football might do it (from a front office standpoint).

Welp, no Arne Slot. They asked 20M for him, which is insane, but just about the most Spurs thing ever to make a guy that expensive their priority. Also lots of talk coming out now that no manager worth anything wants to work for Levy after the last 5-6 years, shocking.

Guessing we throw a bunch of money at Potter or *gag* Rodgers.

Basically Hudson said "I'm out" since he isn't getting the job, and rather than appoint a new permanent manager for two somewhat important chemistry building tournaments the USSF went with another MLS lifer in the interim. Super cool.

Yup, every time they have a chance to make a real change in how the program works they revert back to how "great" the MLS is and the need to ingrain the MLS in the development of star players. It's like they are so scarred by Klinsmann they're like, "SEE! MLS coaches are the only ones who understand!"
