I figured this was one of the last things I was missing from DC.
Get it done gents. |

I know the answer is probably no but...anyone here that has a Wii U and got Splatoon? I know it got decent reviews but wondering if there's any first hand accounts on whether it's good or not.

Splatoon looks interesting but some people are acting like it is going to change the gaming world.
Also I just bought Tetris for the original gameboy and it is a top 5 all-time game. I'm even playing on an old gameboy. |

I'm probably gonna hold off on Splatoon until a few months down the road, post updates and when the initial hype wears down. Got a nice backlog of PS4 games to burn the time though (Bloodborne and Witcher 3)

I am considering buying a WII U for my girlfriend for her birthday. It's the only game system she wants (of course). I also think i my 5 year old will enjoy it (though I'd have to teach him because he doesn't really play video games). I'm really just not sure if it is worth it. I don't want to buy the system and just have it sit there collecting dust. I don't care much about Smash. I'd get Kart for sure. Party doesn't have great reviews but I'd get that because it's one of my all time favorite series. Zelda when it comes out of course. Other stuff looks okay but nothing is jumping out at me.

Mario Party is my 6 year old's favorite game. As someone who hasn't played it since the first few, I was disappointed in the game but for the kids that never played, they LOVE it.

There's that Wind Waker HD game if you want a Wii U Zelda fix, but Kart and Party are the big party games...Not much else that is in must buy territory (maybe 3D world)

I might be biased but I think the Donkey Kong game is must buy. I think it's the best platformer on the console, definitely the most challenging.
The Lego games are also hits for the kids. There's a Marvel one, the Lego Movie one, and a Jurassic Park one coming out soon. |

If I end up getting the system I'll think I'd pick up the Jurassic Park lego game. I've read a bunch of good things about Donkey Kong. Mario 3D would be coming with the system so no need to get that.
The things I have seen about the new Party make it sound just okay. That really sucks because the old Mario Party games provided some of the best video game experiences of my life. I will pretty much always buy new Mario Party games though unless the reviews are really horrendous. |

Fallout 4 and Dark Souls 3 both rumoured to be coming out now. E3 needs to hurry up. Massive fan of both of these series.

On another note I decided to finally give Dragon Age: Inquisition another shot after putting it down sometime in February. While it doesn't come close to the fun of Origins the game does become quite fun and addicting. Glad I decided to give it another shot, fighting the High Dragons is probably the best part of the game.
Once I'm done that I have to finish my Arkham: City re-run with the new DLC before Arkham: Knight comes out later this month. |

In other news i seriously am hoping arkham knight lives up to the other two games. No co op is a major miss but other than that I can't wait to tear around in the batmobile. Also it looks like the ps4 gamestop version is the way to go with all the additional content. |

The Dragon Age series gives me sads. Origins was so, so good. Unfortunately Inquisition is virtually unplayable on PC. They butchered that release.
But... Fallout 4! Hooray! |
