He keeps telling me to watch Frank but I don't want to. I will not follow him in this.

It's not absolute, but for things that I am leaning towards and he likes, I go for it.

Chef I went in completely blind solely on his recommendation. It did not disappoint.

The Babadook was really good, and I don't like horror movies

Finally just saw Age of Ultron and there were parts I liked and parts I hated. I know I am going to get blasted for this but I hated Spader as Ultron.

JJ Brown gets it. Speaking of which, Two Days One Night pops up on Netflix next month. Everyone should watch it because it's amazing.

I tend to agree with Corey about most entertainment related things, but i really only chose to engage him in forum conversation when I don't agree with him.

killing them softly is very underrated based on review scores.

It had a lot of dead air in it, so I understand the complaints. Mendelsohn was great and I love the speech at the end, but bleh.

I liked it overall as 8/10, but I also didn't like parts of Spader as Ultron. Way too many comedic lines for Ultron that didn't land. He started off really creepy and ominous, and then had a lot of human like jokey parts. I just wanted him to be more brutal or focused and his humanish joke parts took away from that.

I still am in love with the entire Marvel Universe they are building. I might not like individual parts here and there but they are making something special as a whole.

Waaaaaaay too preachy and transparent. Needed to be far less obvious.

That is almost exactly how I felt about him as well. . Generally when it comes to movies and shows a compelling bad guy is the hook for me.

As you said the introduction of Ultron was ominous and done extremely well but as the movie went on I was increasingly removed from the movie by Spader's Ultron.

It was the cliche "robot sees humans as biggest threat to peace" storyline. It was well made, but the plot just didn't do much at all for me.

Not happening. Also, San Andreas was unbelievably dumb at times.
