Every Punisher movie is watchable. Only one has parkour explosions.

Has there been a relatively better looking 50 year old movie compared to Alien in 5 years?

Plus since the futuristic/scifi elements aren't necessary to make it work, time won't really act against. Aliens is in the same boat. But I'll pull from metacritic's highest rated movie series of all time: Road Warrior. It is completely subjective, but I prefer Mad Max, but Road Warrior holds up in the same way. Plus the 'weakest' entry is still iconic. RIP Auntie Entity. Jaws absolutely still holds up, but you start to stray from movies where advancement in movie tech are important. |

No, Alien is the best looking movie ever made and will forever stand the test of time.

One thing I will always love about westerns or westernish movies as they usually have iconic scenes with less exciting filler scenes to connect them together.
As a Leone fanboy, he is great at this. How he pulls Once Upon a Time in the West together is magical. Rewatching The Quick and the Dead and seeing the not so subtle references is enjoyable to me. "Who are you?" The harmonica and the badge are the same but are used at different times. Much to the chagrin of my friends, I like to rank things for no reason at all. And The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is a fun way to do it. I believe I have posted multiple times here to no one's interest that Tuco was more good than Blondie. But Harmonica, Shane, and Sharon Stone's character in The Quick and the Dead are defiinitely in the good category. Also for a mopey weekend, my favorite Marine related movie is "The Ninth Configuration." Stacey Keach was fantastic in it. |

Ninth Configuration has been on my list for eons but I haven’t gotten to it. William Peter Blatty, the writer of The Exorcist, wrote and directed it and that’s why I wanna see it at some point.

Quip, completely agree that Quick and the Dead is excellent. Gene Hackman is always a good villain

To be honest I stumbled upon it since it was a classic example of the Wilhelm scream and that is how I stumbled on it. Stacey Keach as Kane is just great. Growing up he was just the asshole dad from Titus but he seriously kills it and the favorite portrayal of a marine in cinema. |

Plus Gene Hackman is always good. Bonnie and Clyde, OG movie Lex Luthor, Unforiven/The Quick and The Dead. Also this scene got imbedded in my youtube suggestions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2XTXHKcUPY |

I love the added content that Alec Baldwin added to Glengarry Glen Ross.
"What's your name?" "F&ck you that's my name!" It does help the bad guys are a rapist and a murderer. |

It's a great play and yet that's maybe the best scene in the movie. Baldwin crushes it and it's a movie full of great performances
