I've never played with a big squad. I always start with low level teams. My Dunfermline squad is the first one I've managed to get to the top level. Now that I'm a lot more experienced, I'll probably start a English football Conference North or South save. Try to go from the sixth level to the Premier league.

With FIFA's kickback culture and one vote per country, it won't be hard for Blatter to keep his seat.

I dont think it matters that much, it's not like getting rid of him will make everything okay.

No but it's a huge jump in the right direction.

To be honest, I don't care that much about corruption in FIFA, until it results in such egregious choices like Qatar. You have to have at least some standards.

This one appears tougher to follow than the France game?

Bob Ley just dropped "come at the king you best not miss" on ESPN whilst speaking of Ali vs Blatter. Wonderful.

Just checked the score and stared at the screen for a few seconds before registering how a 43' goal was scored in the second half. Yay for victory.

U20 at it tomorrow (okay, make that midnight. Stupid Caddy part of the world)

Neither Ali nor Blatter won majority. Ali had 73 votes. Blatter 133. Blatter needed 140. Vote going to second round.

Was closer than I thought! Sends quite a strong message that Blatter couldn't get two thirds of the vote.

Sepp's speech was so full of shit. He kept saying something like, "I've been saying we need reform and want to do this and that," yet nothing has ever been done. If you really wanted to change things you would have. Everyone in the world knows how corrupt your organization is and have been waiting for the shit to hit the fan, yet you act like this is a sudden revelation and is just being exaggerated by the US and England for not getting to host WCs.

Blatter getting re-elected is a pretty shitty thing to have done.

the blatant corruption of fifa and how no one does anything just epitomizes my lack of love/faith for humanity. the dollar always wins. even if blatter lost, it's just the next really corrupt guy. i imagine the organization being full of frank underwoods.
