Haven't followed the U-20 at all basically but did see Junior Flores was left off the roster. How come? Says he's considering joining El Salvador. While I wouldn't mind that too much cuz I am of Salvi descent, he wouldn't go anywhere with El Salvador.

Really want Villa to win the cup. Sherwood is hilarious and Arsenal pain is always fun to watch.

CR7 may be done at RM. He was never my favorite player but man he's a top 3 player and losing him would suck ass

Wow, just seen the Messi goal from earlier...

If he dominates and wins his 3rd CL he's pushing towards GOAT status. It's ridiculous what he's already done and he's only 27 years old.

Yeah - amazing goal. He's pretty much the GOAT for me as it is. A WC win would be nice, but that's a poor way to evaluate players really.

You can't be GOAT and not deliver internationally. This past WC has been the only time he looked at all like the player he is at Barca

45 goals in 95 appearances is plenty good enough.

It's not like he's had numerous attempts at the WC. He was the best player in the world at South Africa but he was only 22 and as you said he put Argentina on his back last year and was the sole reason they even got out of their group. He still has Russia 2018 in his prime to completely put to bed any talk about him not performing internationally.

Rob is right though. 7 games every four years is an awful way to judge how good a player is.

Cristiano needs to go back to Man United.

edit: just heard that Newcastle are talking to Patrick Vieira about becoming manager. Would love that.

Man U and Chelsea are the rumored favorites with PSG a dark-horse somehow if they can avoid breaking fair play
