Yeah. Montgomery has finally looked like what he thought he'd be coming out of Iowa State.

Lions should try to get Kareem Hunt

Maybe letting him work through it can benefit him, who knows. Or you could just continue to let your first round pick ride the bench.

Gibbs should never be the primary ball carrier.

Didn't he basically never run between the tackles at Bama? Being good at running outside is great but I don't think that's conducive to being an every down back.

Sounds like Gibbs was getting destroyed in pass pro and will always likely struggle between the tackles. Montgomery is effective in his role and important for the Lions (and my shitty fantasy team).

The NFC North QBs not named Justin Fields are 1, 2, and 3 in QB rating which is pretty funny

I know how it will sound coming from me, but Love really hasn't been all that impressive either. The Bears defense is terrible and the Falcons isn't much better, and he still struggled at the end with the latter. So many of his TDs are catch-and-runs with the WR doing most of the work.

That is a silly stat too. The teams are 2-4.

I think it’s more of a must-win for the Chargers than the Vikings because of the power vacuum in the NFC after the big three.

Bringing this over.

I knew when they announced he was returning this year it was a big misstep because all of the Steelers fans fucking hated it. It was like Ravens fans keeping Roman the extra year. Head coaches want the stability and they always wait a year to long to dumb a coordinator.

I think Cousins/Goff have looked better but Love is sort of making solid throws all around. And also, the defenses in this division stink.

I think BB is just salty that the Packers can't miss and the Bears couldn't hit water falling off a boat.

Agreed. Plus Staley might be on the hottest seat in the league right now. O'Connell isn't getting fired in any realistic scenario.

Still, it could be the difference in the Vikings deciding to pack it in and play for the future (sellers in trade, play more young guys, shut down moderately injured vets, see about getting that draft pick as high as possible for a QBotF).

That gives them a scapegoat for the year too. If things go sour enough, fire the hated coordinator, the fandom rejoices, then you can get a head start on looking for his replacement.

Agreed. And they're all so banged up too.

I feel like if the Chargers had Staley on such a short leash that they would consider firing him a month into the season then they absolutely shouldn't have started the season with him. Actually, I just can't believe he didn't get fired after that playoff game.

Fields has fewer touchdowns and more turnovers in his first 27 starts than Trubisky.

Dude at the bar made a great shoutout when comparing the Chubb injury: Napoleon McCallum

I'll never forget seeing McGahee's live, and they replayed it over and over...

Another I mentioned when it happened was Navarro Bowman's, which was made worse because that was being replay reviewed to see if he intercepted it, meaning they showed it over and over and over and over...

McGahee without that injury goes Top 5, right?
