I think he should have had it pulled more for allowing himself to be filmed saying it. How dumb do you have to be this day and age to not realize that everything you do/say is being recorded?

If he could just go that would be a great…don’t think a fanbase has ever turned on a coach so fast without anything criminal involved. He was unanimously loved by Ole Miss fans and in about a week became unanimously hated.

Would’ve gladly taken Rhule if he would’ve come here. Ole Miss fans convinced themselves that Kiffin had changed and he’s still Kiffin, hopefully he’s Auburn’s headache soon

Rhule officially to Nebraska.

His college track record of turning around programs speaks for itself and Nebraska is in a much better state than Baylor was when he got there. 3-4 loss seasons (especially in the weak west) should be the norm with an occassional better one in the mix in good years.

However, I don't know if they're willing to accept that as success. How many formerly elite programs really do? It's hard to go from a team with multiple national championship wins and decade-long spans of championship level contention to accepting less.

Guess we'll see in a few years.

...why? He can pretty much wait for any job in the country if he wants. They've had one above .500 season in the last 17 years. Wait for something better.

Freeze has been talking with Auburn for the past few weeks about a job, with a formal offer likely after the iron bowl.

At least he can pay his potential recruits without penalty this time (though if i remember correctly, he also bought escorts in ole miss for recruiting?)

supposedly he can bring his assistants there too. If he can get a few of the boys to transfer there too, it'll be a much better foundation, especially with USC and UCLA out of the way too.
