You didn’t hear it from me but it’s actually a sequel to LA and Russell will be back so now I’m interested.

Taking a 3 hour lunch break to watch Black Panther 2 because I'm the only person in my building lol
Also I feel like I'm the only non child who sits close, like row 3 or 4 is perfect, especially for iMax Fucking 25 minutes of previews is too much

Sequels are always better
Wakanda Forever was 3 hours and felt like half a movie, 2 thumbs down

Avatar is a technical masterpiece and James Cameron’s worst movie.

Avatar stressed the technical innovation and was a blockbuster. But completely forgot about being a decent movie. Compare it to Abyss and T2. Both had Cameron's technical innovations. Abyss was definitely not up to the blockbuster standard, but it is very rewatchable. T2 is a masterpiece which had all three. Plus it has one of my favorite movie scenes of all time: Sarah approaching the elevators. Hopefully the new avatars have the burden of the original to overcome. |

The first Avatar may not have had a compelling story but it was a fucking spectacle. It was a must see theatre experience. Visually it felt kind of magical and that's why I fell in love with movies. I appreciate it when though I don't really care to watch it again. I have a feeling Avatar 2 might end up being pretty good but I guess we'll see. Tough to bet against Jimmy Cameron

The Avatar ride at Universal Studios is 10 times better than the actual film.

I don't love Avatar but I appreciate it and have very distinct memories of seeing it. It did feel special. I would never list it as a favorite movie or even close but I'm happy it was made and I got to experience it

Avatar is not his worst in a world where True Lies and Paranha 2 exist. Which isn't putting them down, Avatar is great.
Am fully caught up on movies besides Strange World now basically (I sincerely doubt that's anything special anyways). Thumbs up to Meet the Fabelmans, Armageddon Time, Knives Out 2, Bones and All, Inisherin once again, and The Menu. Devotion, She Said, and Wakanda Forever are okay but not all that vital. Didn't like Bardo at all but your mileage may vary.

Did you seriously just type True Lies and Pirahna 2 in the same sentence? True Lies is fucking great. Way better than Avatar.

If I watch a movie called Armageddon Time, it sure as hell better open with a title card that says “It’s time to watch Armageddon” and then just play Armageddon

True Lies blows Avatar out of the fucking water. One of these movies has Schwarzenegger, the other has a charisma vortex in the lead role.
