I don't think that's how hearts work.

Lmao well he got fitted with an ICD (the same thing Daley Blind has, who also has heart issues/collapsed on the pitch, and he's somehow still playing) so I don't think there's much to worry about when it comes to general life. Which relative to being dead for a couple minutes I'd consider pretty fine. The miracle of modern medicine!

While I’d have enjoyed a little more chaos in a game where both teams need to win with no chance of falling back on extra time, sometimes you just have to appreciate that Modric is very good

I've been going through results from every big club since 2000, and seeing which sides for each club had the best results over the last 22 seasons on a pure points per game basis. Not just from the league, but also assigning the 3-1-0 point tally to cup matches as well, just as a practice to see which teams had the best pure results over that time. Ive done Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchested United, Barcelona, and AC Milan so far. For instance, when looking at Chelsea, our best season from a pure points per game basis was 2017 under Conte (2.43 points per game), but that was also because we played far fewer games and were in fewer cup competitions. Here are those teams:

CHELSEA

REAL MADRID

MANCHESTER UNITED

Spoiler!

BARCELONA

Spoiler!

AC MILAN

Spoiler!

If there are other teams anyone wants me to do, just name them

Obviously all of those clubs have been loaded with elite players but you can draw some Messi/Ronaldo lines going through the years like that with the teams listed. Do you get that with Kaka in that Milan bump?

2014, when Fernandinho came into the fold and Yaya immediately went out and bagged 20 in the league <3

haha Ali Gold is great, that's perfect.

Can't wait until we don't make any transfers because we won't have a manager until like a month before the season. Or we name Mason interim again for 21-22 and throw the season in the trash.

Holy shit Lewandowski...

He's had a pretty bad tourny so far finishing but that just looked unlucky.
