Definitely have to increase cardio. I'm getting a little bit of a belly again. I had a calf pull that limited my cardio for the past 2 months.

That and I hate cardio so I always look for excuses not to do it.

300 is great, nice job. Was it difficult to get back to that weight?

315+ is a lifetime goal for me, I've wanted to put up 3 plates per side for a long time. But I have long arms and I guess a weak chest. Bench, dips, pushups, all of that has always been a struggle for me. Squats and deads I can do pretty well. But I suck real bad at bench press.

Yeah, I blow at bench. It's weird since I am great at OHP.

I did 245 at bench once. :/. Gonna start lifting regularly again, went a few days ago and I'm sore like a mothefucker. Do not miss this part of lifting.

I've basically only been focusing on lifting and stopped running because I'm lazy so my bench shot up when I gained some weight. I was probably at 275 last summer, hit 285 when I started 5-3-1 2 months ago. Didn't have enough time this week for a full week so I just wanted to max out yesterday, got 325 on deadlifts (would have gotten 335 but my hands quit on me), then threw up 300 pretty smoothly on bench and called it a day.

I'm gonna start focusing on weight loss now that I got to 300 but I'm gonna try to put up 315 in a month.

Bench is super easy for me though, I think at any point in the last 10 years I could walk into a gym and throw up 250 even if I hadn't lifted in months. My chest is stupidly large.

I'm done running for a while. My knee is in a brace most of the day, every day, and until that calms down I'm not going to pound out the miles anymore. But I need to do something. It is probably time to get back into the weight room and then just end workouts with some elliptical or stationary bike.

Rowing machine for cardio is A+ and shouldn't put much strain on your knee.

I loved the C2 rower when I was doing CF. They're pretty expensive but seem far and away the best. However I remember doing a lot of pushing with my legs and I'm not sure my knee would do well with that. I mean even going up a flight of stairs hurts.
