BBD seems to need a pick-me-up so here's a place for him to troll Android users.

In other news my Nexus 4, which is coming up on 3 years old, can't hold a charge for shit anymore. I am trying Cyanogenmod 12.1 to see if I can make some adjustments that create more battery life. If that's no good, I'll have to try either replacing the non-replaceable battery, or it'll be time to buy a new phone. Which sounds fun, except for the part where I have to drop $300+ on a new phone. Thinking about the Oneplus Two.

I'll be getting a new phone pretty soon, the one+ 2 looks amazing, but that damn invite system. Someone give me their invite so I can buy it.

my n4 battery is terrible now too and i have a crack on my screen but i'm riding with it til it goes kaput. phoes are too expensive.

I learned about a month ago that if you double tap and hold the second tap you can zoom by moving your finger up and down on android. It has made my large phone more usable.

My mom is trying out Google Fi right now and its a cool concept. If I didn't have and unlimited verizon account i might switch to that.

I was going to get a new personal phone, but I hate the Active S 5 that I have for work so much, I lost interest in moving on from my PhotonQ.

good luck getting a 1+2 invite.

and given the direction samsung is headed, this (note 4) will be the last phone they make that i'll buy. there's literally no chance i'll ever consider a phone without a replaceable battery and sd card.

Yeah I'm using the note 3 and I'm pretty mad that the 5 is likely going to have a non replaceable battery.

Isn't Nexus coming out with another phone that's smaller than the 6 inch phone they have now? There's rumors they're going to come out with a new model similar to the Nexus 5 in the near future.

If that's the case, just get a temporary phone for now to survive off eBay, and then get that when it's available.

The Blackberry Curve is still the greatest phone of all time.

If they just made another one, made it slightly bigger for an improved screen size and sold that with Android OS and Google Play as the app store they'd make a comeback.

But they're dumb. So they won't.

vertical slider is a great idea. I don't use hardware keyboards anymore because swype, but switching your phone to landscape for the physical keyboard is retarded.

And one of the reasons the Blackberry was so great is because of the software (well, BES anyway).

I really wish Blackberry just made an updated Curve. I'd buy it so fast. Same size idc. Just make the same exact phone, get rid of the mouse and make it touch screen, but also have the same keyboard, and use Android OS and Google Play and I'm sold.

Their email software is second to none. The keyboard was undefeated, I personally loved the look and feel of the Curve. I don't care much for screen size so that wouldn't bother me, just give me another curve.

That's all you had to do Blackberry. Just make another goddamn Curve. I can't be the only one who feels this way. I'm sure others would buy it too. Bring back the damn Curve.

Hot damn there are actually some really good unlocked phones available now for under $300. Considering the Asus Zenfone 2, Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3 (so many names...), both OnePlus models, the Moto G... I think that's it.

besides the battery dying after a year I did like the Moto G 2nd Gen, I believe I purchased it for around $130 off contract

but in love with my s6 Active, love how it feels in my hand, plays games with no lag, and the camera is amazing, haven't rooted it yet but once you replace the samsung crap with google it basically looks stock except the settings menu
