Ign quasi confirms ds3, and its a 2016 early release. All that needs to be announced is miyazaki is directing and i am all on board. If not, well, im still going to get it but with heavily tempered expectations.

Also got the witcher 3. Probably trading it in immediately. I cant stand the fetch quest layout. I just want to fight things and go on quests, not talk to thirty people scattered around before i can do that

Lego Jurassic World has been fun so far. We're about halfway through the first movie. This Lego game seems a little easier than past ones but I'm hoping that it's because we're still on the "earlier" levels (could also be that my son is getting much better at games).

Microsoft conference was solid, but nothing blew me away. Sea of Thieves looks very cool, as do a few other games like Recore and Ashen. Dark Souls 3 is pretty exciting, and I'm seeing stuff that it's the final Dark Souls game. Gigantic didn't look bad. Tomb Raider looks good, XB version of Uncharted. But it comes out the same day as Fallout 4 -- RIP.

HoloLens looked incredible, but im weary of VR shit. Also don't care about Minecraft at all at this point. Huge potential, but right now, I don't know.

But the 'major' stuff was disappointing to me. Halo looked like Halo, which does nothing for me in 2015. Gears 4 is a year and a half away, but looked like it had terrible FPS (30 max) and terrible lighting (way too fucking dark). It could be fine as a game, but compared to a lot of other games that have come out recently, it seems a few years behind. Just not excited whatsoever about either of those games.

Yeah in terms of game announcements it was pretty standard fare. The halo BTB + Horde mode may,may end up getting it. May be not. I just really really hate 343.

The rare game collection is an incredible value for 30 dollars.

If sony just does a BB DLC announcement I'll be happy enough.

So one of the girls i worked with/for and even did an interview series with when I wrote for misscliks.com just presented a game at e3 in front of a million people on twitch/youtube, pretty neat!

Unfortunately Microsoft left some of its big guns (Quantum Break, Scalebound) until Gamescom.
