it's my favorite new game. much more about traffic control than sim city was (at least 2k, no idea how 4 handled it), but even that can largely be ignored if you don't want to spend hours designing an intersection. great mod database, too.

I've been meaning to get it since the developers did an AMA on reddit. Seems like a great game.

The lack of disasters put me off initially. I figured if I let the mod community do its thing we'd eventually have more options than I could possibly want. True?

eh, disasters don't affect the game at all for me. the devs have talked about adding them in, don't know about mods at this point. in general, the mod community is fantastic, and the devs are adding a ton of functionality for free with each update. if that's a key for you, i'm sure they'll add it eventually.

I feel like Cities does need more in-game events to make it more interesting (maybe not necessarily "disasters"). It's a great free-builder, but has a good deal of room to grow, imo.

Cities is a very good game. What Sim City in recent years should have been.

Maybe this is what I meant. Not just disasters. It just seemed like the game left the player alone too much.

*shrug* i just want to build a city, it's perfect for that.

the developers have spent a lot of time talking up a kaiju invasion, so i'm sure stuff like that will show up sooner rather than later.

This is probably one of my favorite sim games, and I still play it today. Its defiantly worth $4.99.

Skyrim Legendary edition is on sale for $13.50 on Steam... I have $18 Steam dollars from selling CS:GO crap.

Should I get it? Yes or no?

I have not played Elder Scrolls games at all.

I had a lot of fun with it. I went too crazy with mods like I always do but it's a very fun game.

Depends on the types of games you enjoy. I personally love the ES games and I spent quite a bit of time on Skyrim.
