I'd take Arkham personally because I don't really have the attention span for games like Fallout.

You finally got it to work!? its weird, I was talking to a friend at a wedding this weekend who was telling me had very similar problems trying to get NV to work. He said he put in 30 or so hours about 4 different times but as soon as he got to new vegas itself the game would start crashing every time.

Wait! Did they remake 1 and 2 in HD and stuff or you talking about that piece of crap they released with the Fallout name and made into a FPS?

Please tell me there is a remake, haven't played it in forever!

yes both are awesome

i haven't played 1 or 2 or tactics or anything else, but wog seems to like em enough to hate 2 of the best games in the last decade

the games themselves have enough content where the expansions aren't entirely neccisary but they do add in some cool armor & weapons plus their own storylines

the Chinese Stealth Armor from Fallout 3 is OP for any stealth build

It's nothing against those games, they just aren't anything like the original Fallout games which were turn based isometric RPGs instead of a clunky FPS interface. Like false advertising which had me super excited and then it was a completely different feel to the game.

I've never liked the FPS style games though so if that's your thing the new ones are probably great, I don't know if any game in my personal top 100 would be a FP based game. Somehow they make me feel like I'm not part of the game.

So yeah, the original Fallout games had an awesome setting and storylines so if that part at least carried over (I couldn't get far enough to really know in Fallout 3) then it will still be very fun.

It's funny, the more I think about it the more I realise I haven't really loved a game in a long time, I don't know if I just expect too much nowadays and as a result always come away disappointed or what but it just feels like games aren't as good anymore to me, maybe I just don't have the time to sink into them, who knows!

If you like loot games, probably. There didn't seem to be a ton of depth, but my roommate loved them both for like, a month each.

I want to love Borderlands, but a lot of times, the world feels a little too empty and a little too alone (though they were definitely going for empty and alone to some degree). It is a great game series, though.

It's a more action-y Fallout with Diablo-style loot. The character and style of the game is on-point. This is one of the best bundle deals they've had, for sure.
