Well PF really isn't a modern NBA postion, it has basically turned into a small ball 5

With the 7th pick of the 2023 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings select...
AJ Griffin, G/F, Duke ![]() I don't know for sure, they just don't need another ball dominant guard. I figure they'll try Sabonis at center for another year and with Fox/Mitchell being both ball dominant, a guy like Griffin can compliment them well with his shot/off-ball play.

With the 8th pick, the Portland Trailblazers select:
Keegan Murray, F, Iowa ![]() The Blazers are just such a weird team. They do have guard talent with Dame and Simons, and I do like Nurkic, but their wings are such a clusterfuck. Murray can score and defend and really doesn't have many major holes in his game. His upside may not be the highest, until he becomes more consistent with his outside shot. He slides in and can do many things to help a team and feel he's a good piece for whatever Portland would try to do |

With the 9th overall selection, the New Orleans Pelicans select G Ben Mathurin, Arizona
Mathurin will supply New Orleans with additional firepower on top of their trade acquisition for CJ McCollum and their All-Star Brandon Ingram. With a healthy Zion Williamson, they could start to make some noise. |

With the 10th pick the Washington Wizards select Jalen Duren, Memphis
Kind of just going with who I think is the best prospect available as the Wizards are a confusing mix of mediocrity as usual. Freak athlete at 6'11 250 pounds with a 7'5 wingspan and he's still going to be 18 years old on opening night next year. He should develop into a good to great defender and offensively he's going to be an elite finisher at the very least. Does have some skill too so he has potential to grow into more than that on that end. (no, I do not care that they have Porzingis) Last edited by Kyle; 04-07-2022 at 09:24 PM. |

With the 11th pick, the Portland Trailblazers select:
Jeremy Sochen, F, Baylor ![]() Full disclaimer, I wasn't wildly impressed when watching him in the tourney, which is all I ever watched him. HOWEVER, given the Blazers roster construction, I think he could be a nice fit. He's a versatile defender who hangs his hat on the defensive end and is a good rebounder. Not a guy who needs his own shot and is a nice match with Murray in the frontcourt. The Blazers are stuck in purgatory right now, but Sochen's defensive ability and upside make him a good piece to have. A lineup of Dame-Simons-Sochen-Murray-Nurkic has some fun, where Simons and Murray could take the scoring load of Dame and Murry & Sochen add some needed defense and rebounding (and talent because yuck @ Portland's wings) |

With the 12th pick, the NY Knicks select:
Ty Ty Washington, Kentucky ![]() The Knicks play basketball like a chicken running without a head. Ty Ty is the top PG in a draft empty of elite PG talent, but perhaps that is the curse of the Knicks to get better, but not elite. Though they could surprise if things come together and Ty Ty should become a fan favorite among NYK fans. |

brodie can have him if he likes, I don't understand how they are so bad with a lottery pick and a decent vet at each position

![]() With the 13th pick in the 2022 NBA Draft The Atlanta Hawks proudly select Ochai Agbaji, SG, Kansas ![]() Older than most prospect coming off his senior season but in a copy cat league everyone is trying to find their Cam Johnson so ATL take their swing in hopes of turning the team around. 3/D wing with enough playmaking ability to make the right pass when needed
