New trailer for Far From Home dropped and it ties into End Game apparently.

I thought it was great. The ability for them to handle such a large cast is amazing. Between the 2 movies pretty much every character was represented in a quality manner. No one is really wasted on screen and characters are used in situations that highlight their strengths.

Writing a time travel movie with so many movies leading into it while not completely messing it up is outstanding. I'm sure there are logical flaws and plot holes I missed but nothing stood out or ruined it for me.

Knowing that some characters would have to return for future projects made me worry their return would be, I guess cheap? But in the end it felt earned. There were subversions of expectations but the weren't just for the sake of subversion.

Pulling off a movie of this size and scope this well shouldn't be possible. They fucking nailed so many big moments and the parts in between were just as good.

Infinity War was better movie but this was also outstanding. Infinity War had a cleaner story and Thanos throughout the movie was amazing. He was a villain that had character development and would show surprise and emotion. Thanos in Infinity War was an amazing written and acted character. The movie was really about him.

Just got back from a 2nd viewing, this time with my boys. I liked it even better the 2nd time. I actually got more emotional this time around. Before it was over, tears were shed by all 4 of us.

...and how lucky am i.... my wife requested that we take the boys to endgame for Mother's Day.

Finally got around to watching it.

I thought the beginning was pretty crappy to be honest. I understand how hard it is to bring so many movies together, but the "plan" on going back in time seemed odd and a little forced to get memorable moments. Overall it was executed better than I thought it would be though.

The movie really grew as it went on, the whole last hour (90 minutes?) was perfect and so well done. Really great movie all around.
