I don’t see Spurs being worse so I guess Arsenal’s top-4 spot will have to be at Chelsea’s expense

I have high hopes for MGW. I just wanna extend Neves so badly. Fabio Silva is already balling out on his loan lol. Need Raul back asap. I'm just SO ready to be hurt again

Got a solid laugh out of his dive. His combo with Zinchenko is interesting, he doesn’t have quite the instincts of a Gundogan when he’s allowed to move into the box and one of those two is definitely going to have a weak pass housed on their linkup sooner than later. Overall Zinny had a heck of a half though

Bayern domestically is a foregone conclusion. Think it would be cool if Leverkusen caught lightning this year though. And if it’s another runaway then at least they added one of the most watchable/likable players in the world

They’ve got some talented guys up there too. My biggest questions for Palace were going to be their midfield, there was a lot of clanging around in there last year between Gallagher and Kouyate. Doucoure looks like he’ll be legit but they need another guy in there if they want to progress

Yeah definitely looked like a game 1 of the season for both teams, both had really good opportunities pissed away.

Arsenal at least look composed, but their play on the wings and in the attacking middle leave a lot to be desired in this game. I think they'll struggle with anyone who has a quick attack. Saliba looks good though.

Palace I have no idea what their plan is/was. Look like a team who never played together before. Defensive line was solid enough, but the attack was just whoever got the ball try to score. Not taking a lot away from the first game but man, they looked bad.

It was a penalty. Virgil kicked his leg out of his leg. Didn't need to because American-Airlines was right there to help, but he did, so it was a pen.

Forest kind of reminds me of Fulham two yo-yos ago with all their summer business, so I suspect they’re going to be actively shit for a while but still, always nice to dominate
