Pistons are maybe in on Miles Bridges and/or Ayton, and maybe drafting Ivey. A lot going on in Pistons world.

Not that I don't think Jabari Smith will be a good player but I'm surprised he came out of the draft process seemingly as the #1 guy. I'd rather have any of Chet/Ivey/Banchero over him.

I think Chet has the clearest path by a considerable amount of being an all star level player in the draft solely because of how impactful his D/touch is already. Jabari I get because he can shoot and switch a lot on D, even if he can't really get to the rik on his own. Still would take Chet.

I guess Orlando's idea is that Jabari is the best fit next to Wendell Carter, but maybe drafting for who fits best next to Wendell Carter is dumb

He's an elite jump shooter obviously but at #1 overall I'd prefer not to have to bank on big time improvement with his handle to ever be a go to scoring type.

Especially when I'm not sure the Magic even have a primary creator right now that is going to get him consistent looks.
