This is the best time of year to take a break from sports. The college world series is a great trip, but unless you're following prospects, it's just sports for sports sake.

You know what i loathe the most about this part of the year? That the Sportscenter Top 10 is the same fuckin baseball highlight every damn night. A shortstop/2B dive and throw to first. An outfielder diving for a ball. A "robbed" home run that was never actually going to leave the park.

Outside of the stanley cup and NBA draft, you can probably take a break from sports for a couple of months to recharge.

Tbf during the middle of the winter, the sportscenter highlights are dunks and flashy glove saves. It's just how sports seasons work.

It’s cos it’s not humanly possible to react that quickly. I think the fastest human reaction is like 0.12 or something.

It's not as much a reaction as he just got lucky guessing the gun. It's not a great strategy but previously in the very few times if it worked you really benefited. I still think it's impressive to guess/react that quickly they should just give it to him anyway.

People have gotten really into this Open from what I’ve seen, with largely a “new” crop on the mens side. It’s cool to see, they push Alcaraz a lot but clearly they are right to do so

I've always generally been someone who needs some kind of outside storyline to get into tennis but if there is finally a new crop of talent coming in that can unseat the old guard I might be in.
