Kirk won't be, but he'll probably be given a timeline to retire. There are far too many Iowa fans and donors that love him and a new AD will know not to fuck up donations.

More likely the athletic dept will take on the full cost (as they should) and Barta will get to stay.

Lol the university settled without consulting anyone in the athletic department or football program. The lawsuit previously dropped all the named coaches and only named the university most likely for this reason, the whole football program wanted to take this to court.

This is the most Iowa thing ever given what goes on between the school and the athletic dept (they allegedly resent each other).

Also the settlement was approved so Barta gets to stay unfortunately.
