That’s always been the rule. The timer doesn’t get reset in this league. It keeps players from being kept at small figures until the end of time.

Yes this has been clarified repeatedly. Kyle talked about fucking up with Dame because he hadn't been kept two times in a row prior.

The amount he can be kept for is reset. His period of being kept is not.

I realize the 2 year keeper rule exists for players who were kept. Like Fox who was traded and kept. But at no point did he hit the wire.

The keeper rule applies to players that were kept. Going to the wire naturally resets because that player becomes a free for all.

The first post literally says "- Anyone picked up from the wire and kept has a value of $0."

It doesn't say "Anyone picked up from the wire and kept has a value of $0 but retains previous keeper years."

The last thing we need is a flood of good players dropped on the wire because keeper eligibility is over and that affecting playoff teams.

The only situation where I'd openly allow it is if those players are out for the year. If an elite player that can't be kept is drilled for shits and giggles, I'd shut it down. It's a non factor.
