I mostly hate that this is a recurring issue and it's something he spent the offseason trying to improve. The guy is the most incredible ball striker we've seen in the last decade and i'd hate to see him waste away with the yips.

It’s a really tight Par 5. Took 3 wood off the tee (had been smoking it all day) and faded just too much into the rocks. Dropped 2, hit my third a hybrid 215ish to leave myself 125 out into the wind on 4. I babied my PW and it drew into the greenside bunker, which was the worst case scenario. Took two to get out and two putted. *sigh*.

Figured you guys would enjoy Bubba trying to avoid admitting he joined LIV for the money. It's really because his 10 year old is too dumb to remember the names of professional athletes.

From what I've heard it's definitely a good time, so for $50 that's not bad at all.

I haven't looked at their schedules but if they have another event here this summer I might try to get a group together to go.

Bubba’s son is going to be so confused when he turns on the CW to see LIV and half of the teams are called something new this year.

Riv notes: Rahm is so freaking good and on a ridiculous heater. It'd be awesome if he and Rory can somehow both bring their A games to Augusta and give us an epic battle while destroying the rest of the field. Also, Tiger is going to win something again.

I don't think i could deal with a Rory heartbreak in Augusta. 1v1, Rahm would crush his soul and use him as a toothpick. Rahm's game is on another level right now, he has no weaknesses and you can argue he's the best at nearly everything.

Rahm is going to be such an overwhelming favorite at Augusta, his odds are going to be like 4/1. Dude is playing unreal right now.

Also, about to get real nerdy here, but getting fit for a shaft is such a game changer. It seems like it's common knowledge, but i always hit my woods with off the rack shafts. Over the last week i went twice to Golf Galaxy to hit the new drivers, but playing around with the shafts.

Was getting around 107-109 clubhead speed with the new Ping, Titleist and Srixon drivers, but tapping out at like 152/153 ball speed. Switched over to a Fujikura Ventus, and right off the bat it felt incredible in my hands, seemed a little whippier on takeaway but solid on impact. My ball speed jumped to 161/162, and i was carrying 285 with rollout to 315 on average.

I wasn't about to drop $1000 on a driver + upgraded shaft combo, so decided to keep my TSi3 driver, and just bought the $350 shaft. It made a world of difference in terms of dispersion and ball speed.

Yeah my next endeavor is to get a new driver, mine is going on 10 years old. I think I've mentioned before but really waiting until I can find a deal on a SIM2 and then like you said get fitted for a shaft.

It's very annoying that the cost of even used drivers from 2-3 generations ago barely drop in price.

Belleair was awesome, we had an 8 am tee time since they didn’t have any afternoons and the member was confused why…as we’re leaving we see they have a ton of carts lined up and it was all labeled with the Phillies names so guessing they have a team building event there this afternoon. Only saw Kolby Clemons in person though.

I still find it so funny how bougie private clubs like that are.

Morikawa needs to figure out his putting for this weekend, has had at least 5-6 putts around 10 feet for birdie that he's missing narrowly.

Also wind today is crazy, 18 shots (some guys had multiple) already yesterday + today in the drink on 17.
