I don't think you can quite call him liberal based on what is out there, but he spoke out against some of Trump's anti-immigration stuff. He's also pro-minority in NFL hiring and has been part of some committees and things to that effect.

NFL ownership is just terrible across the board.

But because they hire and pay the salary of the only guy with the authority to do anything about them, nothing will ever be done without a literal act of congress.

Sports ownership is a weird path. The path that one can take to own an NFL team is an arduous process, and that path doesn't work in making a successful team. Plus these owners are fans and they get emotional.

Lots of owners assume that they can just throw money at something and have the success they want. Look at all the money thrown into Man City. They have a bunch of EPL hardware, but you know they are itching for an UCL trophy.

But as toxic as David Sterling/Dan Snyder seem to be. The federal funded inflation of Barca/RM was very helpful in tanking the Spanish economy akin to their new world imperialism.

That situation reminds me a little of the Greg Olsen Bears situation a while back.

You have this player who can be transcendent at their position, in the middle of a major evolution at that position which they are perfect for, but who old-fashioned, conservative minded coaches could not figure out how to use in that way, so they trade him to someone who can and he breaks out.

Minkah is that do everything safety every team would love to have now, impact all over the field...and they traded him for...Austin Jackson. Yikes.
