The Pats are in a weird spot. I think that Zappe clearly has higher potential than Mac, he can actually push the ball down the field with some velocity on it which helps the entire offense, and he seems to get people (fans, media, and teammates) actually excited in a way that Mac never has.
But they'll go back to Mac as soon as he's ready. To stick with Zappe would be to "give up on" him. So it'll be back to little pea shooter, arm punter possibly as soon as Monday night.

I am sure there is a happy middle ground. I like getting a chance to check out Zappe, but beating up on the Lions and Browns isn't the best litmus test. If Jones plays and they keep it simple stupid and he has middling success then it may be Zappe time. People forget how loathed the year 2 Brady dink and dunk offense was. |

Abso-lutely. Flacco has played well overall in his jets time.

I have no idea how he's played this year, I just think it would be the most Jets thing ever if Flacco was better than Wilson.

All the right things? You mean like throwing up 50/50 balls all the time with his noodle arm hoping his WRs can make a big catch?
Unless you mean last year where he was throwing 5 yard underneath routes and letting his run game dominate. |

The play calling with Mac was way different. Patricia has gotten way better in the last few weeks. He ran virtually zero PA with Mac with the best receivers at getting open barely playing due to injury out pettiness.

He went all-out on Dallas because of Jerrah’s stance on the players kneeling, but he’s all-in on the Browns and their stance on serial sexual-assault. You do you Lebron.

NFL released their HoF semifinalists:
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...-semifinalists I find the exercise of guessing who gets in kind of fun, so here it goes. Thomas and Revis are absolute no brainer first ballot guys. I have a soft spot for Wilfork and Freeney. However Wilfork will languish in the HoVeryGood/Should due mostly playing an unheralded position. I think Freeney has to wait for Allen to get in. I think Allen was deserving long before this year, and having other qualified guys behind him presses the issue and he gets in. That being said, I can see Freeney and Allen both making it. |

I am pretty sure it isn't his first ballot. He definitely is on the list of DE's like Freeney pushing Jared Allen to get in.
Yeah the first article I found was saying he was snubbed last year. Last edited by Lil Quip; 11-22-2022 at 11:48 PM. |

These bandwagon Chiefs fans don't know how to lose lol. They lost by FG to a playoff team and are freaking out. Go watch the 2-14 season...

No worse than a lot of Giants fans who haven't had a decent season in forever thinking Daniel Jones is now a franchise QB just because he's no longer a bottom 5 QB in the league.

Fun question: what's the freakiest team you can think of that would suck at football? I'm talking a team made of Vernon Gholstons.
