Apparently, the Bears were still negotiating with Mike McGlinchey "into the final hour" before his deal was announced yesterday. They were close on the AAV but weren't willing to guarantee what Denver was. Jawan Taylor was their fallback, but they weren't close on him. Rumored that they still have interest in McGary but not close to the prices of those first two guys. Orlando Brown wasn't mentioned, hope they stay away.

I'm still worried they're going to end up with a washed-up retread like Lewan or Donovan Smith just wasting space.

3/$33 for Jakobi isn't that bad. I mean, imagine signing a guy that is much worse in a stronger market to a 5 year/$62.5 mil deal. Cant fathom a team doing that though, that would be dumb.

The Jets have perfectly good WRs so signing Lazard and Cobb just to entice Rodgers is pretty funny

There are rumblings that the Jets and Packers are in a "game of chicken" over Rodgers, who has requested that he be traded to the Jets. The Jets are lowballing the Packers knowing they don't want him to stay, and the Packers know the Jets have no other options.

Lamar Jackson reportedly turned down a deal from the Ravens "equal to" what Josh Allen got overall, that would have paid $133 million guaranteed in the first three years.

I feel like...especially with how good Baltimore usually drafts...they're almost hoping someone comes along and signs him. Two first round picks, no huge QB deal gumming up the cap, an adequate bridge in Huntley...

I figured he had to be the worst Pro Bowl QB ever but, as with most other things, there was some weird shit going on in the olden days of the league.

Eddie LeBaron made four Pro Bowls for Washington in the 50s. He was 5'7, his only winning season as starter saw him go 4-3-1 with 3 TDs to 17 INTs, and he was left unprotected in the Cowboys expansion draft, so he was techinically their first QB ever, going 0-9-1 in their first winless season.

Then there's Mike Boryla, a fourth round pick of the Eagles who, in 1975, made the Pro Bowl despite only starting five games, going 2-3, and throwing 6 TDs to 12 INTs.
