So, truth be told I never had a NCAAF sports team, but I finally decided to pick one. Its only 2 hours from where I am from, in the SEC, my favorite color is orange.... So what better than the Volunteers? It looks like they have had a solid few years under Butch Jones, and only will continue to get back to an elite program.

There are only a few worse teams you could've picked. Pick the Hokies, Hoos or any other tolerable team in your area.

Penn State got its scholarships back and had a great recruiting class, can't use the "depth" excuse this year, now let's see if Franklin can actually coach or not.

So Sporting News posted their ranking of college coaches a few weeks ago. David Shaw was ranked 7th. That is ridiculous. This is the man who once punted from the 29-yard line. This is the former QB coach whose starting QB has regressed each year since a decent Freshman season. Other questionable rankings in my opinion:

#11- Brian Kelly: He's an 8 or 9 win a year coach. Way too high.
#12- Jim Mora: Ahead of multiple National Championship winning coaches?
#19- Jimbo Fisher: Four ten-win seasons and a National Championship in five years. Way too low.
