Cardale Jones talked down about women saying they only like teams based on colors. Then deleted it and says he was hacked. Good job Cardale

UGA doesn't have a QB competition Brice Ramsey has and always will be the starter. Richt likes to have 4 scholarship QB's and UGA only had 3 and feared one of them would transfer or get hurt. Ramsey will throw more interceptions then Mason and will prob even cost the team a game or two. But he will be a good QB and will bring the deep ball back to UGA's offense which it didn't have last year.

I hardly think what he said was outrage worthy anyway.

It wasn't outrage worthy, definitely stupid though. I just think it's funny that he thinks people will believe that his account was hacked by somebody who wanted to post something mildly offensive to women.

It's a pretty dick move to assume half of all fans like teams because of pretty colors.

Has the hacked defense ever worked? No one is buying that.

Hacked defense is idiotic.

OTOH, the amount fools in the world that thrive on being outraged over anything never ceases to amaze me.

Seriously, that's something you say to lightheartedly rib a female friend when they're filling out their march madness bracket. Not a big deal at all.

It shouldn't be a big deal, but as JJB said people like to overreact to everything that isn't politically correct.

Also, these college kids are stupid with Twitter...putting it up there isn't lightheartedly ribbing a friend in private, it's basically putting it on the front page of the sports section. You'd think Cardale, of all people, would have learned that lesson by now.

Edit: I put it in the same ballpark (though not nearly as bad, especially given the allegations/scrutiny surrounding him) as Jameis shouting "f'd her in the p" in a crowded room.

I think most people are stupid with Twitter. Why people don't make their shit private I'll never understand; the nature of Twitter to allow you to spout off thoughts without stopping to think also allows more idiocy to get posted.

OSU preview.

This stood out:
Quote:
2. 86.5

For this year's preview series, I began using percentiles as a way to communicate how well a team played in each of its games last year. It is a useful concept -- most of us understand percentiles thanks to standardized testing -- and it gives us some clues to how a team's final ratings came to pass.

Only five teams put together 90th-percentile performances in at least 60 percent of their games last year.

Percentage of 2014 games in the 90th percentile or better
1. Ohio State (73%)
2. Alabama (71%)
3. Ole Miss (69%)
4. Oregon (67%)
5. Georgia (61%)

(Yes, Ole Miss. The Rebels were at 94 percent or higher in each of their first seven games before crumbling. Last three games: 23rd percentile, 96th percentile, 11th percentile.)

The Wisconsin performance was truly incredible. Ohio State's performance in the Big Ten title game was one of the season's 10 100th-percentile performances, but that doesn't do it justice. Adjusted Scoring Margin is intended to tell us how a team would have fared in a given week against a perfectly average opponent with average breaks.

Top 10 performances of 2014 by Adj. Scoring Margin
1. Ohio State vs. Wisconsin (plus-86.5)
2. Alabama vs. Texas A&M (plus-72.8)
3. Arkansas vs. Nicholls State (plus-68.9)
4. Ohio State vs. Kent State (plus-67.8)
5. Clemson vs. NC State (plus-67.3)
6. TCU vs. Ole Miss (plus-64.4)
7. Ole Miss vs. Memphis (plus-63.7)
8. Oklahoma vs. Louisiana Tech (plus-61.9)
9. Michigan vs. Appalachian State (plus-61.1)
10. USC vs. Notre Dame (plus-60.3)

Even among the season's most perfect performances, that game stood out. It belongs in a museum. Here, let's commemorate it.

Any sleepers for the playoff this year? I might go with Clemson if Watson stays healthy. Think he could be a Heisman frontrunner. Georgia is also a team I like as well.

I'd love to see Cal do something in the Pac-12. Goff is one of my favorite QBs to watch.

Of course, if I am honest with my bias: Texas A&M.

I'm fully expected massnole to appear after I post this, but FSU QB De'Andre Johnson was suspended after allegations that he punched a woman in a bar after she cut in line to get a drink.

I had to check NFLDC to see if he actually posted that there.
