Pretty much this. Our pitching has been substandard this year, hopefully he can pull us back up.

I think he is the boost the staff needs. By no means am I expecting him to do that every time out but at this rate its better than what the other guys have been throwing out there.

So, just skimming some stuff, and I noticed Mark Teixeira has 14 homers, and is tied for third in that category. Average wise still low, but that seems to be the norm for most players this year.

That's the way Teixeira has been the last 3 years. The main difference is he is healthy this year and he didn't have his normal terrible April. If Tex touches .250, I'd be surprised. But his on base is normally 100 points more than his average.

Hard to say. I haven't watched a ton of games this year. He's still very good but I wouldn't say gold glove.

In 200+ games Josh Hamilton for the Angels had 31 homers. Tonight, for the Rangers, he already has 2 lol.
