Don’t they typically waive or postpone military service if you get drafted in the NFL? Feel like I recall this in the past. It makes sense since the likely media and promotion from it is probably more beneficial than one recruit.

It varies, literally depending on the whim of the president it seems.

I think if they are high profile enough like this they would just make him do his service in the offseason with recruiting and promotional stuff. The late round guys have been more of a fight to let them play, but a guy in the first 3 rounds would be huge PR by the NFL and the government.

It is basically up to the secretary of whatever branch they are in to decide.

When the Pats drafted Joe Cardona, the secretary of the Navy let him fulfill his obligation during the offseason. He was a 5th rounder, so the likelihood of him making the team was high, so they were willing to work around the NFL thing.

The issue with Bucs guy was that he was an UDFA if I remember correctly.

Personally I think they should be as lenient as possible. If the DoD wants you to fulfill your commitment, they will make you do it. Why not delay it a couple of months and see if they can stick on a roster.

If someone is a day 1, day 2 pick I think there is 100% chance they work around the NFL season, especially considering we are in somewhat of a lull when it comes to the US military engagement. Also there are plenty of other people to be active duty who don't have a promising NFL career.

Check out Richardson. I didn't watch a ton, nor was there any specifically 'wow' tight window throws, but I see a Cam-lite player there.

Not a huge fan of Will Levis, although I've only seen three games so far.

Positives would be: smart guy off the field (Master's student with several family members from Ivy League schools); big, athletic, physical runner; quick setup/release on shorter throws; some ability to climb the pocket; nice velocity; touch on deeper throws.

Negatives would be: trouble finding targets when primary read isn't open; relatively poor footwork/mechanics; low arm angle; looks skittish vs. pressure; ball placement just adequate; lots of wide-open reads he was able to stare down.

He executes the offense reasonably well because a lot of it is based off of RPOs and shorter throws where guys are schemed open. But so far I'm admiring the play designs more than what he's showing me. I think he could be okay if he was in a similar scheme at the next level. I'm not going to judge him too much yet since that was his first year starting.

Mayo is just salt and fat, while egg is dairy and protein. At least dairy usually compliments coffee. How does salt at all?

A real rockstar QB would use Miracle Whip because he will not tone it down.
