That event probably won't be matched for overall match quality this year or any year if they continue doing Forbidden Door.
I got a bit annoyed in the build-up as they half-assed building the matches for this event and half-assed continuing AEW storylines. I think they can do it better next year, and I think it's just good to have one month a year that's just about rewarding hardcore wrestling fans with this event. I feel like they should just whole ass NJPW x AEW stuff next time. |
