Chavez is definitely the idol. But guys like Juan Manuel Marquez, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, and definitely Canelo, are viewed as "local" heroes.

A lot of people don't even realize that El Terrible handily beat Manny Pacquiao right as he was hitting the apex of his career.

Joe Smith Jr. with the monster KO1 upset! Pumped for the dude, probably seen like 8 of his fights live. Glad to see him get a chance and make the most of it.

Light Heavy - 175 lbs. The crazy thing is, back in HS he fought one my best friends in an amateur fight at 130 and he just blew up into the goddam Hulk.

In terms of boxing skill, I agree, but the weight difference could be pretty brutal. I'd expect a GGG stoppage. Massive props to Kell for taking the fight though - this new crop of British guys seem to be game to fight anyone and it's super refreshing.

I really want to see Crawford fight Pac after his performance Saturday. Would be a fantastic crossroads fight and truly 50/50 in my mind.

That was my initial feeling too, but Pac did toy with a damn good fighter in Tim Bradley. Regardless, Crawford is definitely the most intriguing opponent left out there for Manny. I want to see it.
